SAPES Trust and the Research and Advocacy Unit (RAU) have been holding a series of Policy Dialogues on the forthcoming elections this year. This series is in the way of a pre-election audit of how ready Zimbabwe is for holding elections that will meet regional and continental best practices. A consistent theme from the many speakers – both local and international – was marked pessimism that Zimbabwe would meet the required standards.
