Organised Violence and Torture in Zimbabwe & the Liberation War
Organised Violence and Torture (OVT) has been a feature of Zimbabwe’s political landscape, both before and after Independence in 1980. The current report, dealing with the OVT during the Liberation War, is the first in a series covering the OVT of the last 40 years. This is part of a programme on assistance to the survivors of OVT. This is being carried out by a consortium comprised of the Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum, Counselling Services Unit, Heal Zimbabwe Trust, Research and Advocacy Unit, and Veritas.
